the Musicka Mystica
Maxima festival, which celebrates his influence as well as the autumnal
equinox. Highlights include the strange and haunting psychedelic folk of the
Midwestern duo Spires That in the Sunset Rise, the industrial-music
pioneer Genesis P-Orridge, and an improvised
duet between the saxophone visionary John Zorn and the producer and
bassist Bill Laswell.
